One monday after a busy charter weekend at our Veritas Yachting base in Sibenik, we sailed to Kakan and Kaprije. 2 small islands in the Sibenik archipelago. Just 2 hours from our Veritas Yachting charterbase in the marina Mandalina. First we stopped for a swimm in the cristalclear waters near Kaprije and than we sailed to Kakan. There are 2 nice bays. Uvala Tratica, with approximately 20 bouyes where the boats can be moored. On land is a Konoba (small restaurant) and the bar Babalu. We stayed in the next bay at a small pier. Here you can stay just a short time and not overnight. It is not deep enough and too dangerous. At the "restaurant" Paradiso we had a nice lunch (but quiete expensive) and we sailed back on our Sun Odyssey 54Ds "Boomerang" to Sibenik and the Marina Mandalina A wonderful day out sailing, just a view hours from Sibenik.
